Summer Associates

We extend a warm welcome to our 10 new AmeriCorps VISTA “Summer Associates” members who were sworn in today as Recreational Activity Developers and will be volunteering for the next 10 weeks.
They will be volunteering with the Department of Natural Resources at the Monte del Estado Vacation Center, developing activities and plans for Hiking, Bird Watching, Plant Identification, Cleaning of Recreation areas, among others. The other half of the group will be in alliance with the Department of Recreation and Sports of the Municipality of Maricao, developing capacity in the areas of Volleyball, Swimming and Physical Conditioning, among others.
