Fundación Bucarabón is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded in 2018.  It is a community activation and local development organization, aimed at offering education and services to farmers and women in Maricao and surrounding areas. This initiative arise as a result of the closure of the Francisco Vincenty Second Unit School in the Bucarabones neighborhood, Maricao town.

Our team is predominantly made up of professional women from different areas of our society.  We gathered to create an innovative developmental project through the incorporation of both a non-profit and social benefit corporation. (Corporation B).

The reestablishment of the Francisco Vincenty Second Unit School as a social and economic hub for relationships and connectivity will be a great aid in the creation of a  proactive community in favor of agriculture, both in  Maricao and the coffee growing area.
